I am fizzing with excitement about going home to New Zealand for the release of Real Food Pledge. I can hardly believe it! My book was published in November last year and I have had such an amazing response from my fellow Kiwi’s, that it is now going to be available in all good book stores throughout my home land. The book will be officially released in mid April 2015, just in time for Mothers Day. It will make the perfect Mother’s Day gift! *wink!
In New Zealand we are a nation of foodies, we love food! This is why I am so honored and delighted to be adding to the cook-book landscape of our country. I hope that I can inspire some good old-fashioned home-cooking using fresh, real food ingredients.
In April and May I am going to be a busy bee attending book signings and events, including the NZ Food Show in Christchurch. At the show I will be doing cooking demonstrations and chats about real food. I would love to see you there if you are in that neck of the woods, or if not then I will be at the NZ Food Show in Auckland in July 2015. You can view my NZ Food Show profile here, as well as some of my favourite recipes from my blog.
It is going to be so awesome to meet many of you who have inspired me to keep going on my Real Food Pledge journey as well as those of you that have helped me along the way.
On the weekend my friend Jo from The Luminous Kitchen came over and took these amazing photos of Mackenzie and I for an interview that I did with Metropol Magazine. Keep you eyes peeled for my interview.
Jo was the creative behind the lens for my book, she did a truly amazing job with the food styling and photos. The book is full of drool worthy food photography thanks to Jo’s amazing work.
I had lots of fun shooting this series of images, it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning….. I was doing all of my favourite things, cooking with my daughter Mackenzie and riding my mint retro cruiser!
Looking forward and cant wait for my copy of your book in NZ!!.. i have just made and scoffed the kumara brownie – the men had no idea of it being healthy!!!
Hi Stephanie, thanks for popping in. The brownie is so good isn’t it. I love feeding people yummy things when they don’t know that there are veggies in there, so much fun!
